# How to use your subdomain for digital links

## Mask your digital link's URL with your brand

You can use your subdomain to mask your digital link's URL. Example: your.subdomain.com/01/...

First, you have to set up your subdomain with your DNS provider:

1. Log in to your DNS provider and navigate to the DNS Management page
2. Add a new record type "CNAME"
3. In the "Host", "Name" or "Subdomain" field, enter your subdomain. For example, if you want to create the subdomain "qrs.my-domain.com", your CNAME host would be "qrs". Root domains (my-domain.com) or "www" prefixes are not allowed
4. In the "Destination", "Target", "Points to" or "Value" field, enter "whitelabel.digitallink.ai"
5. Leave the TTL field as is
